Branding, designing and building around a personal brand
The brainchild of a very talented and creative, Kang Pei Shern - A doctor who decided against a high-paying career to take on a non-medical personal project. Unique and versatile, her batik tops are handmade in small batches.
Peishern was bringing 20 tops each week to the pop-up market - and selling out. Inquiries & orders were coming in via Instagram and Facebook. Dealing with each customer personally, copy and pasting bank-in details, and manually checking transactions wasn't the most optimal workflow to maximize sales.

A big factor of what sells betterthanblouses' products is the personality. Throughout the process of designing, building and taking photos for the website the focus was kept around Peishern Kang and her personality.
Besides product photography, we had several photo and video shoots to produce assets for use on the website and social media. Here's a few stills from our favorite set, "Prison Break".

Peishern's personality, again, is the focal point for these countdown tiles - part of the campaign before the launch of her website, to generate hype and excitement as well as to drive newsletter sign-ups.
